The Dark Underside of New Jersey Dog Breeders: The Saga Continues
I invite those of you who have been following this story to take a few minutes to read the comments that Donna Roberts continues to leave on my blog. Ms Roberts, who was convicted of several counts of animal cruelty in New Jersey last summer, is the mother of Grace aka “Dawn” Abrams who fraudulently sold me my dog Moose several months ago. Although, Ms. Roberts was not involved in the transaction between Grace and me, she continues to send me threatening and bullying e-mail messages proclaiming her daughter’s (and her own) innocence.
I continue to post Ms. Robert’s comments because I want people who read my blog to understand the type of person that I am dealing with! Unfortunately, she reminds me a lot of Sarah Palin—another woman of questionable ethics and integrity. And, I am sad to say that Ms Roberts is about as bright as Ms. Palin too!

Yes you are right Alice, I did not sell you a puppy or adopt out a dog to you but you and your husband decided to slander my family just like Libby Williams is doing. And it is no surprise that you would vote for a friend of terrorists, especially your husband who takes great pride in being a bully.
My daughter did nothing wrong to you. The puppy she sold you was fine, after you bought the pup she didn't hear anything from you about the pup having a parasite. it wasn't until you came for Marcus that you said something so what did my daughter do, she gave you $150 off the adoption fee for Marcus. Which I am sure was more that the worm meds for the pup but that is the way my daughter is.
Now to Marcus, did she know he had an ear infection, NO. Did she see anything wrong with his teeth, NO. I in fact flossed that dog's front teeth a week before because he had woodchips stuck between them, He just liked to chew on woodchips, don't know why. With the both of you being superior beings you should have seen anything wrong with this dog right from the onset. Your husband declares he has taught Vets how to do their jobs so why didn't you see these problems before you adopted him? Maybe you should have asked 'LIBBY' to get her crystal ball, after all she believes breeders should have xray vision not to mention the power to see into the future which puppy will handle the stress of moving and which pup will not. My daughter offered you the money back when you returned the dog. To expect to keep the money and the dog is not right. When we rescue a dog, whether it's myself, my daughter or another member in our group we can only relate to the new owner what we were told by the former owner. Also we do not keep the money for ourselves, the money from the 'Rescues' goes back into rescueing more dogs or vet bills. The fostering person gets $50 for the food, so my daughter got $50. The rest of the money went into a vet bill and $200 went to a lady in Florida who has no money and was fostering 6 Havanese dogs that came out of a bad situation. Since that time we were able to get two of the dogs shipped up here and they are staying with foster Parents in Freehold, NJ. My daughter's two Havanese dogs were stolen from the farm by a Heavy (fat)bald man in a silver blue SUV so she has no more Havanese. She adopted out Sambo to a wonderful home. So all she has left in her big "puppymill" as you state is two neutered mutts, that FYI were rescues nobody wanted to adopt. Buddy is 12 years od and Scuffy (who was dumped on the farm last winter) is about 3.
So yes I am commenting on your site, why does that bother you? Are you another person like Libby Williams who doen't want the public to know the truth?
You are even slandering people you don't know like a Kathy in Barnegat. We don't know her either. You are slandering a whole bunch of people that you did not deal with, nor know anything about, but you're a lawyer so I guess you feel that you can do anything you want and it's okay. You are also slandering MINORS which is really low. My other daughter is a junior handler and she has bred her dogs and has NO COMPLIANTS against her whatso ever and you slander her.
Libby writes I was convicted of Animal Abuse, but fails to tell the public, that it was because of two pups had a parasite (which was transferred from the mother) and another having an ear infection (caused by water when the owner gave her a bath and she was not sold by me anyway) And that the two charges were dismissed because the Judge stated they should have never been made in the first place. I would also like to point out that NONE of the pups were DECLARED UNFIT FOR PURCHASE. Neither was the pup my daughter sold you. It is incredible how everything gets twisted around. Libby has an agenda to rid the state of all breeders, no matter what. Nothing is perfect in this world and selling perfect puppies is a goal that we all try to attain but there is always going to be that one pup that doesn't respond to the worm meds or shots. It's not the breeder's fault. We do not have LIBBY WILLIAMS crystal ball. Maybe she should hire herself out to do 'readings' on breeder's litters, this way all of us will be perfect. We will know what pups will not handle the stress or which ones will get a parasite.
I have bred dogs for 42 years now and have no intention of stopping. In that 42 years I have had 6 complaints. I only have 2 dogs at this time but I do plan on breeding them in the later part of 2009. Contrary to Libby's Bullcrap I do not breed my dogs every cycle and do not have a puppymill. IT IS ALL LIES, ON HER PART and YOURS.
