The Dark Underside of New Jersey Dog Breeders: Grace Abrams Strikes Again

I heard today from another one of Grace Abrams’ grifting victims. Apparently, this individual purchased a sick puppy from Ms. Abrams several months ago which at one year old developed some problems that likely resulted from congenital defects due to inbreeding. This person told me that a friend of hers also purchased a ‘Havanese” from Ms. Abrams which they suspect really isn’t a Havanese (despite ‘papers’ that indicate that it is). As you may recall, we also received suspect pedigree papers for the dogs that we purchased from Ms. Abrams (which prompted us to get both dogs tested). I sent Grace’s most recent victims information on the Wisdom Panel DNA tests that we used to perform genetic testing on our dogs, the results of which confirmed that Moose, our so-called Havanese, was really a mixed breed dog!

I wonder how long it will take Donna Roberts to send me one of her threatening, vitriolic notes  (read the comments) after I post this story?  I will keep you posted….

Until next time…

Good Luck with finding a new puppy!!!!!!!

Mr. Mintz, The dog you are speaking of was a rescue that was adopted out. He was not bred by any of us and therefore we are sorry that he has a cateract, he certinally didn't have anything wrong with him when we were asked to rehome him. Cases like this are very rare and as a "doctor" you should know this. The woman emailed Grace and as was explained to her as it was explained to you when you adopted Marcus (Moose) we can only relay to you what is told to us about the history of the dog, whether it's true or madeup by the person's giving the dogs up, we do not hook them up to lie detectors and drill them for hours under hot, white lights.

Baron is a beautiful dog. The other person you are referring to I don't know who that is but any dog sold by anyone in my family is a purebred Havanese. And I do not believe for one second that Marcus is not purebred, you just want to make it look like he is not so you can cause more trouble. All the breeds in your so-called profile are what made up the Havanese. Is your life so sad that all you have to do is bad-mouth people who have done nothing wrong except try to help homeless Havanese?

Also Mr. Mintz you do not have permission to reproduce pictures of my dogs, please take MY PICTURE of your website. I had no business dealings with you whatsoever so stop slandering me and my dogs. Grace is no longer breeding Havanese thanks to a fat, bald man in a silver blue SUV who was seen stealing them off the farm at dusk. Does this sound like someone you know, maybe if you looked in a mirror you'd get the drift.

The sad truth is Mr. Mintz if you printed the truth you wouldn't have much of a "story". Just like a yellow belly slug you steal my picture off my website, why didn't you just take a picture of Sandy and Moose your purebred Havaneses instead of mine. You, sir, are the thief and the liar. Does it make you feel like a man to attack two women and children. I don't even know why my daughter allowed you to have any of her dogs, being next to you at the vet's office it felt like I was standing next to a slimmy child molester. You know the type, a gruesome, fat, stinky pervert who only lives to attack those who cannot protect themselves or lack the means to protect themselves. I do hope that your children do not know how you slander and abuse people or the people at the school where your wife works, how embarrassing that must be for her. Just the thought of you pushing me up against the wall in Dr. Cohen's office with your big, fat belly makes me want to take a shower. So Disgusting.

Petsmart now carries the DNA test kits right at the check out counter which makes it easy for any party suspicious of the breed of dog they have purchased. Way to go Petsmart! I bought one and plan to have my pup tested Friday. I will post the results when I receive them.
